ISO 9001

A Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 provides an organization with a set of processes that ensure a common sense approach to the management of that organisation.

The system should ensure consistency and improvement of working practices, which in turn should provide products and services that meet customers’ requirements. ISO 9001 is the most commonly used international standard that provides a framework for an effective Quality Management System.

ISO 9001:2000 includes the following main sections:

Quality Management System
Management Responsibility
Resource Management
Product Realisation
Measurement Analysis and Improvement

ISO 14001

An Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 provides a framework for managing environmental responsibilities so that they become more efficient and more integrated into overall operations.

This framework allows an organization to understand, describe and control its significant impacts on the environment, reduce the risk of potentially costly pollution incidents, ensure compliance with environmental legislation and continually improve its business operations.
