According to a recent article produced by online property giant Rightmove, there has been a record number of enquiries for industrial and warehousing space this year alone as a result of COVID-19, and the increased amount we are spending online.
In December, the number of enquiries for industrial and warehousing premises outperformed all other sectors. The number of people interested in buying warehouse space went up 56% year-on-year, while the number of people looking to lease was up 43%.
Ultimately, with greater need for more warehousing space, comes a greater need for more flexible storage and racking to house products, goods, and equipment within them.
